Still waiting for Godot
Jan. 15th, 2007 08:52 amWell, yesterday's "storm" produced a total of less than 1" of snow. Just enough to make the roads dicey, inducing Wife to request chauffeur service out to the nature center and return (both cars have AWD and ABS, but she prefers my winter driving skills to hers....) Yeah, that doubles the mileage, but it's cheaper than wear and tear on her nerves. We're only talking an additional 12 miles here.
Snowing again now, with forecast of 4" - 8" accumulation. Or maybe mixed precip -- depends on whether we're in the mountains, the north, or coastal this time. Plate tectonics rules!
One thing about light fresh snow: you'd be amazed at the amount of overnight cat traffic we get around here. Tracks everywhere.
Skis waxed, snowblower fueled.
