A dusting of snow this morning, not enough to even cover the pavement, much less bury the brown grass. Temperature about 15 F (-9 C) when I got out of bed. Middle of January in Maine?
The weather prophets seem to think we'll get more snow, maybe 6" or so. I look at the way the jet stream has been moving, the fronts and the highs and lows, and suspect the bulk of this storm series will pass south of us.
None the less, I shall wax the skis and gas up the snowblower. Which will probably turn out to be a bit of Heinlein's _un_sympathetic magic, and jinx us all.
