Perversion

A Kansas church plans to send protesters to the Maine funeral of a soldier killed in Iraq. The Westboro Baptist Church isn't protesting the war, mind you. Instead, these people say that US soldiers deserve to die because they defend a country that tolerates homosexuality.

I think this meets the classic definition of "Sick Fuck."

Surrealism

Just went out to the mall area to stock up on coffee. Wandered into the mall proper to say hi to some books, faced out on the shelf, now signed, go books, seduce the passing public!

But at the entrance, there's this box with a big blue button to invoke the handicap access electric operator genie. And sitting on the box, a full bottle of Heinz ketchup. When I went out again, the bottle was gone.

Tease

We have a single purple crocus blooming, huddled tight against the sunporch foundation for borrowed warmth. Also, a mockingbird claiming the front peak of our roof for a pulpit to proclaim his worth.

And I think Mr. and Mrs. Cardinal are considering the spruce out back as a potential nursery.
