Saturday roadkill report
Mar. 25th, 2006 02:17 pmYes, folks, it's the return of the ever-popular (?) Roadkill Report. Spring is here (says so on the calendar) and desperate cabin-fevered folks have swept the winter's dust off their bicycles. I use the plural because I saw other two-wheeled fools out there.
Anyway, the roadkill total topped out at a couple of squirrels. I would normally exclude squirrels as unworthy, but I guess the more important critters are still tucked away in hibernation. Oh, and the roads themselves count as roadkill, after the ravages of winter. But I did the whole loop this time, on the road bike instead of the mountain bike, and survived.
Fat Wizard survived the morning, also. I'm not sure he's going to thank me.
And the noon news logged Fred as a no-show for the funeral. I'll update you as further dispatches arrive from the front.
