Being a functional monoglot, I just assume that "Editions Mnémos (24 avril 2008)" means that this book is actually available in print.

Actually, I like the cover on the first one. Whether or not it's accurate, it's still a pretty good image.

I hope you're able to track down what's happening on the contract/money side of things.

It's a good cover, just inspires the "There's a death ray on the cover of the book" echoes.

When a similar situation happened with me, we ended up getting a larger advance out of the publisher than we would have otherwise, since they weren't exactly in a position to haggle. Fingers crossed for a similarly happy ending for you!
