Still forecast 8" to 12" of snow from the Northeaster coming up the coast.  Younger Son's area seems to be targeted for a bit above that, but projected snowfall totals seem to morph from one forecast to the next, so in'shallah...

Meanwhile, school superintendents have canceled classes in a broad swath of territory that still shows dry roads.  That's why they get paid the big bucks.

I got about eight inches of typical New England heavy wet cement; it's tapering off as I type. It does a nice job of covering the remnant piles left from the record-setting December snowfall, along with covering the bare ground left from the record-setting January thaw.

It also does a nice job of dropping tree limbs onto power lines. Fortunately, none of the affected power lines supply my abode; the midday news reported that some thirty-five thousand others were not so lucky.
