Nothing to see here

Air temperature 21 F, wind northeast about 6 mph, mostly cloudy. Headlamp joggers out in the predawn gloom. Glaciers continue to recede. Should be able to get out for a walk, no other milestones to reach.

I don't post or share a lot of political opinion because I don't think that anyone within my limited reach thinks that the current shit-show in Washington is a good idea.

More signs and portents

Met up with Ms. Sasha on my afternoon walk, first time in over a month. She seems healthy and active and happy to see me. I took the liberty of sitting on her front steps for an extended skritch and pet session.

Cardinals clamoring away, much less runoff on the sidewalks and roads, and the earliest reliable daffodil is showing color. We may yet live through winter.
