The morning after

Air temperature 16 F, wind northwest about 10 mph gusting to 20, snow showers as the remnant of the storm passes off into Canada. Ordeal by snowblower looms in my future. I can't tell how much snow we really got because we still have bare asphalt in some unplowed areas and grass poking up, but the plow berm is a couple of feet high.

Have run the snowblower, our driveway and the city sidewalk down to the intersection and up to our neighbor's driveway. No illusion that I am done for the day -- city plows are still growling around the neighborhood and previous passes swung wide around the corner to about 6' out from the edge of the road. And my fingers have thawed out enough for typing . . .

In all the tick-tock hullabaloo, I haven't seen mention that Donald Oath-Breaker is claiming that he can cancel an Act of Congress with a Presidential Decree.
