There will come soft rains

Air temperature 50 F, wind near calm, cloudy. We would like some gentle rain out of those clouds, if you please. Otherwise the PTBs will start throwing fire warnings around again.

Crabapple flowers opening. The tree is going to be covered in blooms this year, after a minor showing last year.

Almost warm out there

Shadbush trees dropping their petals, first lilac sprays opening, wild blueberries almost ready for their bumblebees. No cat friends available on the afternoon walk. This is not actually a bad thing, with the rabid skunk reports.
