Shelter from the storm

Air temperature 29 F, wind NE about 10 mph, light snow falling. We have about 2" accumulated so far, with projections of up to 6". Snowplows rumbling.

We've had three passes each way by the city plows. I admire their zeal, but really . . . only a couple of inches accumulation?

And I continue to wonder about people who leave cars parked on the street. City has an overnight parking ban, which they aren't enforcing. But leaving a car out there is asking for it to be clobbered.

Just cleared the steps and sidewalk and driveway apron at this time. We're still due another snowplow run or two, and still snowing.

I am afraid that North Neighbor is one of those regrettable people who drive off without clearing the top of the car. Granted that is a task with the big GMC wagon, but . . .
