Migratory trees

Air temperature 22 F, wind NE about 11 mph, overcast with a windchill of 11. Snow not forecast to reach us until tonight, maybe mixed with rain. Holiday trees are starting to reach the curbside for city pickup, where they can get buried by plow berms and freeze in place until spring.
