Same as the old year

Air temperature 29 F, wind south about 2 mph, overcast. Snow seems to have stopped, leaving us with a total of maybe 5". I guess we can claim to have survived another year, which is about the limit of my aspirations.

There is only one bowl game on broadcast TV this afternoon. Cultural monuments shattered, Western Civilization is dead.
