Thursday no-roadkill report
Apr. 16th, 2009 12:43 pmNo fresh roadkill to itemize. Tuesday's porcupine remained by its guardrail, which indicates that the cleanup squad is not yet active. Or that they prefer their meals less pointy.
Still chilly, mid-40s F, but sunny, so I put on ski pants and headed out on the bike. Not-roadkill, a pair of Canada geese grazing by the cemetery pond. They are trying to confound my expectations -- first mergansers, now geese, where I expect mallards.
15.27 miles, 1:13:30
(Yes, I adjusted the bike computer. Now my little obsessive-compulsive mileage feels better.)
