The end is nigh

Temperature about 50 F this morning.  Forecast for upper 30s F tonight.  Probable "frost advisory" and maybe a freeze, for the valleys back in the hill country.

Took advantage of the chill to spray a yellow-jacket nest behind the siding of our sun porch.  Die, bastard chitin-bodied stingers, die!

We don't need no cost/benefit ratios

Survived moose alley, both ways.  Sold two books, for 140 miles round-trip . . .

That's the price of living back in the puckerbrush.

(Maybe a couple more pre-sold -- the Nice Bookstore Lady said she ordered 15 copies of DRAGON'S TEETH, but they only put 12 out on my table.)
