When temperatures and dew points collide

Foggy morning.

The weather-twit says that humidity may actually increase today, to which my question is, "Where they gonna put it?"

Answer seems to be, warmer air.

Silly season

We have a family of house finches around, with the youngsters still flying on student pilot licenses.  Takes them three or four tries to land on the feeder perches.  Sometimes they just give up, land on the much safer crook of the support post, and flutter their wings and beg.

Meanwhile, the chickadees just zip in, nab a seed or two, and vanish back into the foliage.
