Damp morning, once again air temperature and dew point coincide.  Projected weather is afternoon showers and thundershowers, including "severe" in New Hampshire and western Maine.  Our personal storms are supposed to be less dangerous, but noticeable.

Morning bike ride looks doable.

Rear tire blew out on the Chamberlain Bridge.  Other than that, no -- repeat no -- roadkill on the entire route.  Bloodstain in one area, large enough for a deer or good-sized dog, but no carcass.

As noted, this qualifies as a less-than-stellar ride.  Hot (80s F), humid, no wildlife or new flora to report.  Plus, got something in my eye at about mile 9, to the point where I considered calling Wife to retrieve me.  It cleared up, so I (Big Fool) pushed on. When the tire blew, I was close enough to home that I walked in, rather than change the tube by the side of the road.  (I carry two spares, with tire tools and a pump, because some of my rides get . . . remote.)

So I get to buy a couple of new tires (replace both of them) and a new tube tomorrow.

27.33 miles.  Time irrelevant.
