Thursday no-roadkill report

No fresh roadkill on the weekday route.  Tuesday's woodchuck had vanished, gone with the wind (or the coyote, whichever came first.)  The porcupine's mortal remains linger on.

Yes, windy.  Current report on the weather channel, winds NNW at 24 mph, gusting to 36.  This is less than desirable bike weather.  I, being pig-headed, went out anyway.  Lots of lupines, orange hawkweed joining the yellow in the fields.

And in the continuing jest that is Maine weather, forecast says that some northern areas may get frost tonight.
