Actual warmth?

45 F now, with the prospect of 60 or higher during the day.  And a house down the street has daffodils along the (south-facing) foundation.  Spring may yet occur.

Although we have not yet achieved a snow-free yard.

Well, that's over

Put a deposit on a 2008 Subaru Forester.  Which the dealer will have to fetch from New Hampshire, because Wife refused to have a red car sitting in our driveway for the next 10 years or so, and the only other color the dealer has on-site with automatic transmission was white.  I will not drive a snow-bank colored car in Maine...

We could, of course, have gone to a 2009 model and gotten whatever color and accessories we wanted.  For even more money.
