Spring?

About half an inch of slush overnight.  Now gray skies and spits of rain.  Thus do we welcome vernal equinoxes to Maine.

Offical commentary on that alleged "spring" thing...

Now is the winter of our discontent...

Snowing again.

In case you, dear reader, feel I'm acting overwrought about a flurry here or there, I'll point out that Caribou, Maine (prophetic name) is verging on an all-time record for total winter snowfall.  Probably will have broken it (near 200") by the end of this latest storm, with another month of snow-season left to go.

We're nowhere near that, in our back yard.
