Onward, ever onward
Dec. 21st, 2007 10:31 amSnow relocation accomplished for the morning, Wife delivered to nature center. (It's that icy residue and the differing attention to detail in various domains thing again.)
Sister is now supposed to arrive this evening, God and Delta willing. This would represent her third or fourth reschedule.
Anyway, returned home to a mob of chickadees at the sunflower feeder, which compensates for a number of annoyances. Should mention that we saw a mis-colored female house finch yesterday, a lot of white on crown and face. At first we thought she had flown beak-first into a snowdrift, but the stuff stayed put through numerous ventures into the feeder ports. So you have to allow for oddballs when poking through your bird book wondering what the hell you just saw...
