I'm actually relieved that I don't like any of the candidates or initiatives on this year's ballot. Because then I don't have to vote against someone I'd actually prefer, due to telephone harassment. Or hunt them down with a Winchester 12-bore pump in my hands...
We have been getting an effing DELUGE of political calls, many of them repeats of the same message. Letting the answering machine screen them, which is a PITA given that Wife's father just got out of the hospital.
And it's a waste of breath to cuss back at taped messages.
