Hurry up and wait
May. 18th, 2006 01:35 pmWell, I spent three years in the army, I should be used to it.
Just heard from Nice Longterm Client that they have, after Issues about Property Control dumped them from the HUD grant program for that new building, now decide to go for a USDA grant that has different requirements and a different schedule. So I don't finish up that sketch plan for a preliminary tentative maybe-works unit layout and complex plan.
Also just heard from Nice Editor Lady that the page proofs of DRAGON'S TEETH are on the way, please get any changes back by June 20. Which is a good and sufficient time for me to review them, for a change, and I'm actually _in town_. Also got a .jpg of the cover art, which has a non-bimbo girl on it with some appearance of Native American ancestry, which would be Caroline, and some standing stones that look rather taller than I describe in the text. Different artist than the previous three books, which does not ruin my day.
Will start the extended negotiations for getting a copy of the cover on my web page.
