Icy roads ahead
Nov. 28th, 2005 08:51 amRain this morning. Given that recent temperatures mean the roads still harbor temperatures around 20 F, driving is contraindicated. Wife has declared that we won't starve if she postpones grocery shopping until tomorrow.
I _may_ go out later, to run some prints of the base plan for that lumber-baron renovation project. Or I may wait. Likewise, I may get a call from across the river, telling me that an excavator is working on the plugged catch basin on _that_ project, a bit of renovation that recent weather makes increasingly more urgent. As in, do we want to spend the winter with a fifty-foot-wide skating rink in the driveway?
