White fluff
Nov. 27th, 2005 09:24 amGot another couple of inches of snow yesterday -- Wife found the return from work a bit . . . interesting, as in the ancient Chinese curse. Made it into our driveway un-dented, if more than a trifle frazzled by the so-called drivers with whom she had to share the roads. We went out for a walk later, and found the world much more enjoyable under that mode of transport.
Morning dawned clear and still and cold*, and you can judge the level of fluffiness on the tree limbs by the mini-avalanches dislodged by our local chickadee horde each time one nabbed a sunflower seed from the feeder and flew up into our maple to peck breakfast into submission.
*About 12F/-11C -- this will not be considered _cold_ in the near future.
