The mills of publishing grind slow...

Received, in today's mail, the signed and countersigned contract for DRAGON'S TEETH. Got the _signing_ advance a week ago, separately. Nice, when you know I sent the edited manuscript back to them last week.

And the contract is dated December 6. I wouldn't want to try it, mind you, given the ambient weather, but I suspect I could have walked the paper from New York to here in that time....
