Jan. 30th, 2005 03:16 pmI could _swear_ I heard a robin fussing, when I went skiing this afternoon. Not the cheerily-cheerio call, but the alarm call. And both wife and I heard a house finch singing the other day, and she heard a chickadee doing that soft fee-bee mating call out at the nature center.

In other naturalist news, she found otter tracks out near the lake.
Haven't felt any pressure to work on GHOST POINT in the last couple of days. Guess my brain needs a break to reset from DRAGON'S TEETH. And the roof snow has been doing the glacier bit, sliding down the slope and developing crevasses and such. Every once in a while we get a resounding whomp when a bit drops right off.
