Nippy out there
Jan. 18th, 2005 08:24 amTemp about -5F this morning, windchill about -20F. Not cold, but getting there. Came back from my morning walk for the newspaper looking like Dr. Zhivago, ice all over my beard.
I think today I start on the final pass through DRAGON'S TEETH. Find out what kind of mess I've made of the editor's revisions. See if I can finally spot those typos that have lurked through five drafts. Normalize capitalizations and such so the nice copy-edit person doesn't gripe at me. All that housekeeping stuff.
Mainly, clear _that_ book out of my head so I can get back to GHOST POINT and the pending crisis.
