Tuesday floral report

Mid-sized thistles starting to bloom. Can't tell if they are field thistles or pasture thistles from bicycle botany range. Spiky things, any way your taxonomy works.

No fresh roadkill. Still have pools of porcupine quills by the roadside in several places.

Rain ceased, road dried off (sorta), got out on the bike. Did not die.
