Same-sex marriage passes another hurdle:

If the bill passes both houses and if the governor signs it, we'll probably have a referendum vote.  Which gets to the core of Democracy, don't it?  50.001 % of the electorate can squash the rest  .  .  .

Yes, but think of the economic boom that'll be created when thousands of Mormons fly in from Utah to campaign to "preserve" marriage!

We have plenty of indigenous RLDS folks -- I've designed a couple of church projects for them. Did *not* get into theological discussions . . .

Mormons off the wagon and out of the closet are rather fun to be near. In a "hurricane on the horizon, storm watching" kind of way.
