Redpolls again.
Scattering of snowflakes overnight, supposed to spit and spot for the morning and then clear later. We'll see. Rather depressing aspect to the world, but I contemplate news from elsewhere and guess we didn't do that badly . . .

According to yesterday's meeting at the Nature Center, Wife will maintain her current work schedule for at least a few months. Beyond that, depends on fund-raising. Which, if you haven't noticed, is down with the rest of the economy.

Date: 2009-03-27 02:40 pm (UTC)Perhaps it depends on what the fund raising is for? We've just had a big fund raising drive here in the UK for what we call Red Nose Day. To my surprise, it once again broke all previous records for amount of money raised. However, someone said that when people are feeling the pinch they're more likely to give because they realise that they're not doing so badly compared to people in desperate need. I don't know how much truth there is in that, but it makes a certain amount of sense, I suppose.
