Date: 2009-03-17 08:11 pm (UTC)And it doesn't. I wonder though if this whole mess of "Everyone is Irish on St Patrick's Day!" might have something to do with it being less offensive. If everyone is Irish (at least one day of the year) then no one can be offended because then everyone would have to be offended?
