Okay, we've received maybe an inch of white stuff, just enough to mask the ugly mess of late winter.  If the weather gods plan on delivering 6" to 10", per forecast, they'd better get their collective asses in gear.

Or maybe rain -- temperature 33 F right now.

We've been keeping an eye (or ear) on the availability of water.  'Tis the season for water-main breaks, what with frost heaves and all.  District crews have three under supervision right now, one at the end of the next block over toward the park.  Crew working on it in the dark last night.

I thought it had stopped snowing here. And it had for an hour or so, right after the girls got dropped at the bus stop. Now it's going again and the outside thermometer reads 40F.
(Not that you can tell because I cropped the photo of the icon but that's my youngest at age 18 months looking at her first snow as it melted, rapidly.)

Not up her in the Big City, it ain't. We may have 2" so far, and some of it is melting.

Pouring redpolls, yes. We had maybe 40-50 of them in the side yard, munching away.
