Light snow overnight, maybe an inch and a half. Then the temperature started upwards -- think we passed 40 F for the first time in weeks. So now that fresh snow has mainly vanished, leaving brown road-slush memories spattered around. And the frost-heaves are turning the roads into washboards. One just up the street from us garners a _whomp_ from every passing truck, up to the point that several times I've looked out to check for accidents....
Sketched up that house addition this afternoon, faxed it to client, he says he thinks his wife is going to want it larger but the layout looks good. Maybe I ought to send him a contract? With request for a retainer?
No writing today, but I think I've figured out the glitch that has left the story hanging fire. Need to follow The Shrew in to meet Grendel's Mom, _then_ wait outside with Beowulf and The Witch. Both the Nice Agent Lady and the Nice Editor Lady have commented that sometimes I leave too much dramatic stuff happening off stage.
Ski tomorrow morning before all the snow goes away?
