If the drifts are that bad, maybe what you need is a neighbor with a Bobcat... (I'm remembering the Blizzard of '78. Our regular plow guy didn't bother with his pickup; he brought a front-end loader to deal with the three feet in our driveway.)
A Bobcat would have been useful for the plow-berm at the end of our driveway. The rest was within limits. I had opened up a hole through that mess and was chewing at the edges, but Nice Neighbor Guys from both sides attacked and routed our common foe.
