Temperature was 54 F when I did my locking-up rounds last night, with a damp wind from the south.  36 F when I got up this morning, 34 now, with wind from the NW.

We are practicing the reversion to the norm . . .

One could deduce that you got your pilot light going again. Divine intervention, or the warranty folks?

19F outside. We have a forecast of snow. Which is preferable by far to ice.

Yes. Pilot light is lit. Thermocouple was replaced this afternoon. I had a come-to-Jesus phone call with the warranty people this morning. Yet again, they attempted to be of the opinion that a service call was not warranted because the pilot could be lit. After our chat, they changed their tune. I believe the particular CSR I spoke with is now humming "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen" under her breath. :-)

I guess that could be divine intervention, after all....
