Have released two cars from their icy shrouds. Cleared end of driveway and space around cars and sidewalk and steps. Rain continues. Weather.com reiterates their belief in 33 F air temperature. We have received a mail delivery notable for the continued obstinate absence of checks.
Wife has departed for the nature center. I hope someone in the PTB ranks recognizes "above and beyond the call of duty", especially for a job whose pay-scale verges on volunteer work. But that's unlikely, even for a non-profit.
I think this may be a cheese-potato soup day.
