Why is it that when I decide I want a peanut-butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, I always find about a teaspoon of peanut butter left in the jar?  Have to get out the rubber scraper to salvage the remnants, then battle with the "safety seal" on a new jar.  Worst of both worlds.

Probably should have PBJ sandwiches more often.  Then I might encounter a half-full jar on occasion.

my brother says one of his favorite things to do is 'mess up' a new jar of pb.

PBJ sounds good...I'll trade you for some leftover beef stew...

I know this was a rhetorical question, but statistically the most likely answer is that you're counting the hits and forgetting the misses -- that there are times when this doesn't occur, but since you're not annoyed by those occasions, they fade from your memory.

Well, I eat less peanut butter than the other occupant of this house, so the statistics get skewed . . .
