jhetleyFound a dead chickadee in the middle of the side-yard yesterday. No obvious damage, too far from the house to have flown into a window and fallen.
Sad. Chickadees are our winter jesters. If you give them half a chance, they'll eat sunflower seeds from your hand. Wife had one land on her shoulder and offer a critique while she was filling the feeders at the nature center. She was late late late . . .
