In this case, the season for swapping the lawn mower and the snow-blower.  Which, of course, also involves moving two bikes, a second mower, and a garden cart . . .

Snow-blower started with one pull.  Ran it for a few minutes so that it would get used to the idea, then shut it down.

Hope this little bit of unsympathetic magic will hold the blizzards at bay for a few weeks.
