Kiss the skiing goodbye

Well, the rains have come. And temperatures in the 50s. Bare grass showing in the lawns and lakes gathering around frozen catch-basins. And I am refusing to check the basement -- can't hear the drain gurgling when I'm up here, so it can't be too bad.

No more skiing until we get another snowstorm, I guess.

Winter in Maine can be a chancy thing.
