Confident predictions based on fragmentary data scare me . . .

I mean, when the networks predict California's vote before a single precinct reports, I have this DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN flash.

Anyway, I shouldn't still be awake now.  We appear to have a president.  I hope we find out that we want him.

Note to all my Blue friends -- I would say the same if McCain had won.  Insufficient data, again.

I hope so. We've had a number of years of people refusing to concede the previous couple of rounds . . .
