Downward trend

Mid 20s F this morning.  Rising sun hits maple tree, leaves fall.  Probably a haiku in there somewhere, but I'm too lazy to dig it out and polish it.

Odds of bike ride not great.

Prediction for temperatures in the teens tonight, back in the hills . . .

And the forecasters toss "snow" into the mix, now and then, for higher elevations. Park rangers closed the summit trails on Mt. Katahdin a week or so back.
