Not a roadkill report

With the gusty winds, I decided that a stroll around the bog boardwalk might be more congenial than biking.  Wife concurred.  Pitcher plants sighted, various mushrooms, autumn leaves.  Areas under the white pines carpeted with discarded needles, silent feet.

Photos taken, which may appear on-line if any of them work out -- point-and-shoot cameras don't cope well with that kind of lighting.

I should try to get out to the bog boardwalk Thursday when I'm off. It's closed now when I get out of work. Boo.

I have to get up there, just to take pictures of the pitcher plants. I imagine their color is stunning right about now. (All of my pitchers are going into their full autumn color, but they aren't native to the area. I want to see fall pitchers from plants in their native soil.)
