Another of the joys of the two-party system, as currently run 'round here. "Vote the bastards out" is often a good slogan, but I have a sitting US Representative running against a sitting US Senator. Can't vote *against* both of them . . .
Or write in a vote for me. There's no danger I'll win -- and if I did, I don't meet the residency requirements in your state -- besides, it'll make a great coffeetable conversation. We could even start a campaign. ;) j/k
But the write-in is still there. Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Santa Claus are popular choices, I hear. Perhaps your one vote could push them over the edge into the mainstream ;)
