What does *this* button do?

Wife bought a couple of The World's Cheapest Watches for the nature center, as some of the volunteers out there forget to bring a watch and hence the means to get the kiddies (in guided school groups) back in time for their bus.

Anyway, the Chinese-into-English instructions do not, in fact, relate to the watch in the package.  So we have been experimenting.

None of the buttons are red, unfortunately.  And we haven't generated any sudden loud noises in the neighborhood.

Shame, that.
