We don't need no cost/benefit ratios

Survived moose alley, both ways.  Sold two books, for 140 miles round-trip . . .

That's the price of living back in the puckerbrush.

(Maybe a couple more pre-sold -- the Nice Bookstore Lady said she ordered 15 copies of DRAGON'S TEETH, but they only put 12 out on my table.)

Other than that, how did the evening go?

"Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln . . ."

Had a nice chat with Noreen and Karen. Was amused at some strange organization on the part of the bookstore, which sat me next to a local* minister pushing his book on maintaining relationships . . . nice guy, but not a marketing plus.

Brought two cups of yogurt in a cooler, but forgot to add a spoon to the baggage. Sort of typifies the whole experience, yes?

*Which meant that he had a cloud of friends and family chattering around all evening, and sold probably 8 books to my 2.
