jhetleyBike ride ruminations gave me a possible answer to that Palin-picture twitch.
In that photo*, she seems to have her "alpha" dialed up too high. Makes me want to bite her throat. I don't object to "dominant" -- that's a job requirement. But her body-language seems to go beyond that into "domineering" posture, which turns me off without regard to gender or creed.
