No longer our problem

Well, that indispensable resource, the internet, says that the plane left and arrived at its intended destination. We have not received any phone calls from family unit requesting retrieval from the airport. Logical assumption, family unit was on plane. Therefore, whatever happens from now is Someone Else's Problem.
Warmer today, and less wind. We got a walk in, around the neighborhood. The same slackers who left garbage to be scattered by the storm also do not shovel (or plow or snow-blow) their sections of sidewalk. Civic virtue, not to mention personal responsibility, seems to be vanishing from the species.
