No rain

For all the gray and humidity, we remain unrained.  I hesitate to say "dry", because you could wring the air out like a towel.  And the cats have taken to nesting* in the shade, whereas they are usually phototropic.  Listen to the wisdom of cats.

*For some reason, Nikita has decided that a pile of aborted maple "keys" that Wife swept off the driveway makes a perfect cat bed.  I do not know what special attractions it holds, but you cat-servants out there may take note.

Sounds like you're having the same sort of weather we're having here. I keep telling the universe "So *rain* already, dammit." But the universe isn't listening.
