Boom

Fireworks (the officially sanctioned and boring kind) just commenced.  You may guess, from my posting that fact in real time, that we aren't attending.  Can see the flashes from our own house, being about a mile from the launch pad.

Small town life.

I can see my town's fireworks from my deck, although the trees have grown high enough over the last 21 years to hide the lower altitude boomers.
